TempoGuess Privacy Policy

In short: TempoGuess does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

Information We Collect

None that leaves your device. TempoGuess is designed to work entirely offline. We do not operate servers that receive your data, we do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, or any other personal information.

Data Stored on Your Device

To make the game work, TempoGuess saves the following locally on your device (using your device's standard local storage), and never sends it anywhere:

Your game progress — scores, levels, XP, streaks, and statistics.
Your unlocked and equipped cosmetic items and settings (theme, sound, etc.).
A display name you optionally choose, used only to show on the local results and share cards you create.

This data lives only on your device. If you delete the app, this data is removed.

Leaderboards

The daily, world, and multiplayer rankings shown in TempoGuess are generated locally on your device for a single-player experience. Your scores are not uploaded to or compared against other real users over a network.

Notifications

If you choose to enable reminders, TempoGuess schedules local notifications on your device (for example, a daily streak reminder). These are created and delivered entirely by your device. No notification data is sent to us or any third party. You can turn reminders off at any time in the app's Settings or in your device's system settings.

Sharing

When you tap a Share or "Challenge a friend" button, TempoGuess uses your device's standard share sheet so you can send a result image or link through an app you choose. You decide whether and where to share. We do not see or store anything you share.

Advertising & Purchases

Any promotional content shown in the app is delivered from within the app itself and does not track you or collect data about you. TempoGuess does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that identify you.

Children's Privacy

TempoGuess does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Because no data is collected or transmitted, the app is safe for all ages in this respect.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes (for example, if a future version adds an online feature), we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above, and describe what changed.
